California Dreaming
After a short break back at home, the Intrigue Team descended upon Los Angeles, California to start the second leg of our Intrigue Across America Tour. Spanish Hills Club was the location of our tour stop and let me tell you, the breathtaking views from this stunning venue had us dreaming that we were in California all the time. Elegant architectural touches and iconic Spanish Mediterranean design created a warm setting for our two day event.
Day 1 - Social Media Masterclass
The first day of our two day event starts with the social media masterclass, where Sarah teaches the techniques she used on social media to grow her floral business into the blooming powerhouse it is today. The takeaway from this highly informative class was that luxury isn't an aesthetic, it's a feeling. -the Four Seasons chain of hotels is consistent in the feeling of luxury.
Day 2 - Luxury Floral Masterclass
The color scheme for Los Angeles was a citrus-lover's dream! The beautiful lemon yellows, mandarin oranges and grapefruit colors just combine so perfectly to create a refreshing and stunning backdrop for our models. Attendees had the opportunity to learn how to reflex tulips to create large impactful blooms in table runner of flowers that overflowed onto the floor of the venue.
And, thanks to Accent Decor, we had exclusive access to their new soprano archway and vibrato hanging container. The resulting floral design using both of these hardgoods were simply stunning.
After day 2 wrapped, the Styled Shoots Across America photographers came in to photograph all of the beautiful florals and decor, along with the help of stunning models. Attendees of the workshops get full access to all professional photos once galleries are completed, which means hands were filled with flowers, minds with inspiration, and portfolios with photos!

Everyone always asks how much it costs to create the large scale floral projects. Did you know that the floral runner in the main table scape cost $8,057.40?
