Intrigued Experience Wrap Up 2022 - Day Three

Lions, Tigers and Bears, OH MY!

Intrigued Experience 2022 was held at The Tidewater Inn in Easton, Maryland on November 14-16, 2022. If you missed the wrap up of Day 1 or Day 2, start HERE or HERE and then come back to read all about day 2.Day 3 of Intrigued Experience was all about giving back. The morning started with more education where we talked about wholesale ordering for large scale events wtih Tony Crespo of FMI Farms and Laura Walsh and Kelly Mace of Oasis Floral Products.

And, we also had Nick Cutsumpus & Stephanie Duncan there to talk about farm to table flowers and a look at a more sustainable approach to the floral industry.

Morning Workshops

After our morning sessions, our attendees were off to their morning workshops. First up was Perishable Poetics (named after her book) with Jenny Thomasson AIFD. Jenny can sculpt anything out of flowers and we watched her create a bud vase out of a champagne flute to hand in one arrangement. Amazing!

We also the pleasure of learning from Beth O'Reilly with some unexpected accents of fruits and vegetables added to our luxe and low centerpieces created on Day 2.

A Time for Lunch

Day 3 lunch was a time for the attendees to take a break, enjoy a little food and socialize with new and old friens. The linens from Nuage added a stnning pop of color to the event space. After everyone recharged, they were back to the workshops to wrap up the day.

Afternoon Workshops

After lunch, attendees headed to the last two workshops of the Intrigue Experience. First up was a Q&A session with four of our educators: Bron Hansboro, Sue Davis, Josh Spiegel and Michelle Summers. And, then everyone was off to play with the LIONS!! We'll let the pictures speak for themselves, but everyone loved this Big Flower Fight-esque lions and got the opportunity to bring them to life with florals and other live elements.

Friendsgiving

We wrapped up the afternoon wtih a gratitude session of making bouquets for a local charity that sells flowers for a young man who is suffering with leukemia. And, then everyone made their way outisde to see the lions completed and enjoy some hot apple cider. We then headed into the ballroom for a Friendsgiving dinner. The three days jsut flew by, but we all had a wonderful time and can't wait until next year's event.

We will see you again next November, back at Tidewater Inn for Intrigued Experience 2023!
