Intrigued Experience 2023 Wrap Up - Day One

Back to Intrigued Experience 2023

Intrigued Experience 2023 was once again held at The Tidewater Inn in Easton, Maryland on November 13-15, 2022. After all the fun we had last year, we were so excited to bring the most immersive hands-off floral conference in the world back to Maryland for a second year!

All Smiles for Registration

It was so wonderful to see so many smiling faces all ready to experience this 3-day luxury floral event! Attendees stepped inside the historic Rose Room of the hotel to check-in for the event. After getting their nametags, agenda booklets, and luxury gift bags, the attendees were off to get their gorgeous headshots taken by Judith of Fresh Look Photography. They also were able to mingle and enjoy a refreshing infused water station before heading to the Gold Ballroom for their opening sessions.

The Happiest of Welcomes

When the doors were opened to the ballroom, attendees were greeted with a bright and cheerful room filled with yellow flowers of all shades. After taking their seats, Jordan introduced Sarah, who literally danced into our hearts and to the front of the room and welcomed everyone to this amazing event. A few more gifts were given and we started the afternoon education sessions with our phenomenal group of educators.

Learning and Laughing Together

If there is one thing we can guarantee about the education portions of this year's event is that they were all filled with smiles and laughter. Sure, we all learned so much from our phenomenal educators, but we made a connection with each other through the happiness of the day. Here's a little overview of what our educators spoke about:

  • Sue Davis, from Fresh Designs Florist, spoke about falling in love with flowers again.

  • Pamela Primrose Hale, reviewed freelancing best practices.
  • Teddy Manuel, fromTeddy Manuel Flowers and Events, spoke about his journey to the luxury floral market

  • Leah T. Williams, of Leah T. Williams Event Planning and Design, shared her floral journey.

  • Sarah Roshan, from Emerge Event Collective, talked about her luxury event newtworking collective.

  • Deirdre & Janette, Kay’s Flower School, spoke about how COVID changed their business model and have grown their business into an international floral education powerhouse.

Dessert First, then Dinner

After our minds were full of the amazing education from our speakers, and our hearts were full from laughin, we were ready to fill our bellies...and what is better than having dessert first! Attendees were treated to a multitude of desserts and special cocktails and had the opportunity to have their photo taken again. After dessert, all attendees were off to our floral dinner where they learned more about each other and got to enjoy a little dancing and fun before heading off the bed! Goodnight day one!

Stay tuned for the Day 2 and Day 3 Recap posts for Intrigued Experience 2022.
