Reaching New Heights in Raleigh
Our stop in Raleigh, North Carolina for the Intrigue Across America Tour 2026 brought us to the stunning grounds of The Bradford, a venue known for its European-inspired architecture, expansive gardens, and beautifully designed indoor and outdoor spaces. With its mix of classic elegance and open-air charm, The Bradford provided the perfect backdrop for both our hands-on learning and large-scale installations. Paired with warm sunshine, clear skies, and that unmistakable early-season glow, the entire experience felt bright, elevated, and full of possibility from the very start.
Day 1 - Selling Luxury in an Uncertain Economy & Centerpieces
The morning of Day 1 began with a business-focused session led by Sarah, centered around Selling Luxury in an Uncertain Market. Together, attendees explored the evolving mindset of today’s luxury client—one who is still investing in meaningful, elevated experiences, but with greater intention, discernment, and a deeper expectation of value.
The conversation focused on what it truly takes to serve this level of client well, from building trust and creating connection to confidently communicating pricing and maintaining strong margins. Attendees also discussed the importance of visibility, strategic marketing, and positioning themselves in a way that attracts the right clients—those who appreciate thoughtful design and are willing to invest in it.
That afternoon, we transitioned into hands-on design, focusing on centerpieces. And this is where Raleigh really began to take shape.
Working with an abundance of premium white blooms, including Delphinium Paramo (Hybrid Double Blooms) and Delphinium Bella Andes White, attendees created designs that felt both architectural and refined. With stems reaching up to 130 cm, these florals brought incredible height, fullness, and presence to each table, while the soft white tones kept the overall look clean and elevated.
The goal was to create something that felt intentional and impactful without being overcomplicated, letting the flowers themselves do the work.
✨ Fun Fact: Because these designs had to last outdoors in the sun for two full days, extra attention was given to hydration and prep—making this not just a design exercise, but a true lesson in durability and care.
Day 2 - Luxury Floral Installation Masterclass
Day 2 is always where things expand, and in Raleigh, that meant going big.
We started the morning by building the foundation for our ceremony installation: the “snakes.” These greenery-based structures are a signature technique, allowing us to create scalable, flexible frameworks quickly and efficiently. Attendees worked together to construct the base elements that would support the full design, learning how to divide tasks and streamline the process for large-scale work.
From there, we moved into the build of the ceremony feature, a custom, oversized 14-foot arch that became the focal point of the entire design.Once in place, attendees began layering florals in shades of white and soft blush, creating a look that felt abundant, romantic, and completely immersive.
Blooms were placed with intention but allowed to move naturally, resulting in a design that quite literally dripped with flowers, softly cascading from the structure and creating depth and dimension from every angle.
The final result was a statement piece that balanced scale with softness, structure with movement, and technique with artistry, bringing everything from the previous day together in one unforgettable installation.
More than the designs themselves, it was the collaboration that stood out—a space filled with creatives working side by side to create something unforgettable.
✨ Fun Fact: The entire 14-foot ceremony arch was custom built by hand by our floral cohost, Todd of Expressions of Love Florist!
After day 2 wrapped, the Styled Shoots Across America photographers came in to photograph all of the beautiful florals and decor, along with the help of stunning models. Attendees of the workshops get full access to all professional photos once galleries are completed, which means hands were filled with flowers, minds with inspiration, and portfolios with photos!
