Intrigue Across America Tour 2026 - Atlanta

Bursting with Blooms in Atlanta

Our Atlanta stop on the Intrigue Across America Tour 2026 brought us to the iconic setting of the Swan House at the Atlanta History Center, a venue rich with history, grandeur, and timeless Southern elegance. With its stately architecture, sweeping staircases, and beautifully manicured grounds, the Swan House provided a breathtaking backdrop for this stop of the tour. The design palette leaned into nature, layering greens in every shade—from soft and airy to deep and lush—accented with touches of taupe, rose, and crisp white for a look that felt both elevated and organic. Throughout the space, florals climbed, cascaded, and overflowed, transforming the venue into a garden-inspired experience that felt immersive from every angle. Surrounded by historic beauty and a setting that invites both scale and intimacy, our community of designers came together ready to create, collaborate, and push their artistry even further. The combination of lush textures, refined color, and dramatic floral moments made Atlanta a truly unforgettable chapter of the Intrigue Across America Tour.

Day 1 - Selling Luxury in an Uncertain Economy & Centerpieces

Day One in Atlanta began with a morning of business-focused education led by Sarah, continuing the conversation around the evolving landscape of luxury clients and what it truly takes to serve them well. The discussion explored how today’s luxury buyers are still investing in meaningful experiences, but are doing so with greater discernment and a deeper emphasis on relationships, trust, and thoughtful design. Students talked through the importance of visibility within their networks, maintaining confident pricing, investing strategically in marketing, and protecting healthy margins as their businesses grow. Just as the session wrapped, buckets upon buckets of flowers arrived on site—perfect timing for the group to jump in and help carry them into the venue, filling the space with the energy and anticipation that always comes before a full afternoon of hands-on floral design.

After lunch, the day shifted from strategy to hands-on design as attendees gathered inside the ballroom at the Swan House to begin working with flowers. With all students present for both days, the group was able to move efficiently into prepping the foundational pieces for the ceremony installations. Surrounded by buckets of lush greenery and layered blooms in soft taupes, roses, and whites, teams worked side by side building out the floral elements that would later transform the ceremony spaces. The process moved quickly—so quickly, in fact, that once the primary installation pieces were complete, the group was able to get ahead and begin pre-prepping for the arched ceremony florals as well. What started as a focused afternoon of preparation turned into a highly productive and collaborative design session, setting the stage for a seamless and impactful Day Two installation.

Fun Facts:

  • Eventhough we were in Georgia, New Jersey showed up at this Atlanta tour stop with numbers. And, we heard so many stories of friendships made during Intrigue events. We lvoe that.
  • Swan House was featured in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire as the Presidential Palace of the villian President Snow.

Day 2 - Luxury Floral Installation Masterclass

Day Two in Atlanta brought the kind of weather that perfectly complements a beautiful design setting. After a warm and sunny Day One, the second day arrived with a slight chill in the air—but still clear, crisp, and undeniably pretty. The change in temperature only added to the atmosphere, giving the day a fresh, energizing feel as attendees stepped back into the Swan House grounds ready to bring their designs to life. With the historic architecture, soft natural light, and perfectly balanced conditions, the setting allowed every floral element—from ceremony installations to reception details—to shine, creating an experience that felt both elevated and effortlessly beautiful from start to finish.

Outside, the ceremony space at the Swan House came to life as students brought their designs into the historic setting. The gothic arches created a dramatic and architectural focal point, beautifully enhanced with layers of lush greenery and soft blooms in shades of taupe, rose, and white. Florals climbed and cascaded across the structure, adding movement and texture while still allowing the grandeur of the arches to shine through. The aisle leading up to the installation was just as striking—lined with garden-style arrangements that felt organic and inviting, guiding the eye toward the ceremony backdrop. Together, the arches and aisle created a setting that felt romantic, immersive, and perfectly in harmony with the surrounding landscape.

It wasn’t just about the designs — it was about the collaboration behind them, a room full of creatives working together to create something truly special.

Fun Fact:

  • Two attendees from an earlier 2026 tour stop formed a fast friendship and came to the Atlanta tour stop together to create.
  • We had to use freight elevators and U-Hauls to get eveyrthing to swan house everything was designed in ball room

After day 2 wrapped, the Styled Shoots Across America photographers came in to photograph all of the beautiful florals and decor, along with the help of stunning models. Attendees of the workshops get full access to all professional photos once galleries are completed, which means hands were filled with flowers, minds with inspiration, and portfolios with photos!
