Intrigue Across America Tour 2026 - Dallas

Big Blooms and Beautiful Music in Dallas

Our Dallas stop on the Intrigue Across America Tour 2026 brought us to the stunning setting of Knotting Hill Place, a venue known for its European-inspired architecture, sweeping courtyard, and elegant garden spaces. Just outside the city, Knotting Hill Place offered the perfect blend of refined design and open-air beauty, with its iconic gazebo and romantic courtyard creating an unforgettable stage for our floral installations. Throughout the space, vibrant pinks and corals brought warmth and energy to the designs, transforming the venue into a celebration of color and creativity. Surrounded by beautiful architecture and a courtyard that felt made for gathering, our community of designers came together ready to collaborate, learn, and build something extraordinary. The combination of bold color, dramatic structures, and hands-on artistry made Dallas a truly unforgettable stop on the Intrigue Across America Tour.

Day 1 - Selling Luxury in an Uncertain Economy & Centerpieces

Day One in Dallas began with a morning of business-focused education led by Sarah, continuing the conversation around the evolving landscape of luxury clients and what it truly takes to serve them well. The discussion explored how today’s luxury buyers are still investing in meaningful experiences, but are doing so with greater discernment and a deeper emphasis on relationships, trust, and thoughtful design. Students talked through the importance of visibility within their networks, maintaining confident pricing, investing strategically in marketing, and protecting healthy margins as their businesses grow. Just as the session wrapped, buckets upon buckets of flowers arrived on site—perfect timing for the group to jump in and help carry them into the venue, filling the space with the energy and anticipation that always comes before a full afternoon of hands-on floral design.

After lunch, the day shifted from strategy to hands-on design as attendees gathered inside Knotting Hill Place to begin working with flowers. Because every student was present for both days of the workshop, we had the flexibility to get an early start on our largest installation of the event — the floral-covered gazebo that would serve as the centerpiece of the ceremony design. With storms in the forecast, the plan was to build as much of the structure as possible on Day One so it would be ready to install quickly between potential rain showers. Throughout the afternoon, students worked together creating the floral sections that would ultimately wrap the entire gazebo in layers of pink and coral blooms. By the end of the day, the full installation had been built and staged, ready to go up as soon as the weather allowed. What began as a precautionary plan ended up working beautifully — giving us everything we needed to bring the design to life the following day when the skies unexpectedly cleared and the installation could be enjoyed in full.

Fun fact:

  • One of our attendees in Dallas came ALL THE WAY from KENYA!

  • As discussed we had a big rain plan for the two days, but it never rained. You know it would have rained if we didn't plan for it.

Day 2 - Luxury Floral Installation Masterclass

Day Two in Dallas began with the kind of surprise every event designer hopes for — clear skies. After a forecast that had threatened storms, the weather held beautifully, allowing us to bring every element of our design vision to life. With the sun out and the courtyard glowing, attendees were able to complete not one, but two distinct ceremony installations, along with a dramatic reception design that carried the musical theme throughout the space.

Outside, the gazebo became a true showpiece as students installed the floral sections they had carefully built the day before. The structure was transformed into a 360-degree garden of climbing florals, wrapped in layers of greenery and abundant roses in soft pinks, peaches, and corals. Blooms cascaded upward and outward across the architecture, creating an immersive ceremony moment that felt both romantic and vibrant against the backdrop of the courtyard.

Inside the venue, the creativity continued with a spiral ceremony design that offered a completely different interpretation of guest experience. Chairs curved in a sweeping circular pattern around the bride, while low garden-style florals traced the spiral path across the floor. The design invited guests into the ceremony space itself, turning the layout into an intimate and sculptural moment that felt both modern and deeply romantic.

To complete the day, the group brought the reception vision to life with a musical tablescape centered around a grand piano. Long tables wrapped the piano in a sweeping configuration, layered with vibrant florals that echoed the pink and coral palette seen throughout the installations. With a violinist performing alongside the pianist, the design became more than a tablescape — it became an experience, blending music, florals, and movement into one unforgettable Dallas moment.

By the end of the afternoon, what began as buckets of flowers and a few big ideas had transformed into multiple fully realized environments. The day showcased not only the beauty of the designs themselves, but also the power of collaboration — a room full of creatives working together to build something truly extraordinary.

Fun Fact:

  • Jetfresh provided stunning VIP Roses, also known as wax roses, a specialty variety known for their smooth, almost porcelain-like petals. These roses are incredibly versatile and come in a wide range of colors and styles, making them perfect for adding depth, texture, and variety to large-scale floral designs.

After day 2 wrapped, the Styled Shoots Across America photographers came in to photograph all of the beautiful florals and decor, along with the help of stunning models. Attendees of the workshops get full access to all professional photos once galleries are completed, which means hands were filled with flowers, minds with inspiration, and portfolios with photos!
