Who is this class for?
This class is open to budding florists, wedding planners, event designers and creatives looking to give their floral skills a boost. This is a beginner to intermediate class, and all skill levels are welcome. However, if you have never worked with flowers before, I suggest you download the tutorials here on Intrigue Teaches and start practicing prior to the class! You are going to need to know the very basics such as how to process flowers, cut stems and soak floral foam.
If you are struggling with less than exciting floral budgets and can't seem to break out of the rut of basic brides and unfulfilling designs then this class is for you.
If your calendar is booked solid with lavish weddings full of decadent centerpieces and lush bouquets designed for ideal clients that trust you and you LOVE working with, then you already know the secrets to achieving success in this industry and this class is not for you.
In true Intrigue fashion, this class will be loaded with tips and inspiration to guide your design skills. There will be LOTS of surprises along the way including a fun lunch with all of our local flower friends.
11:00am - 12:00pm LUNCH: You are in for a treat with an "Intrigue Style" luncheon

Business Intensive - $299
This workshop is you if you are looking for business education that focuses specifically on our unique wedding floral industry. We are creatives, however, what we experience in the course of running our businesses is much different than the average creative. We work with a perishable product, in a fast paced environment, that requires organization, patience and a lot more than just luck!
This is a floral workshop, but, we will not be playing with flowers. The Business Intensive is all about your business, with a focus on processes and procedures to help maximize profitability and ease the stress through organization. We are in this business because we love it, and in order to stay in business we need to generate income that excites us!
If you are like I was when I started, then funding is tight in the beginning and (although you want to dream big) it is hard to come up with big dollars to invest in education. I have trimmed out the fluff and created an event that is business focused, with the intent of propelling your business to the next financial level!
Why am I teaching this course?
I often think of the struggles that plagued my early years as a Wedding Florist: money wasted advertising in the wrong places, learning how to price for profit, the overwhelming anxiety that overtook me as I struggled to find staff for my weddings. I think back to the loneliness I felt, not knowing who to turn to for support and having to figure out my business strategy all alone.
There was no one around me that was open to helping.
I was on my own and it was hard.
I want to help with these struggles and relieve the stress that running your floral business has created. I want your business to be running so smoothly you can spend your time doing what you LOVE! I want to alleviate your struggle with running a financially and emotionally successful business.
You are not ALONE. I am coming to visit!
