Biography:

Hi! I’m Mary Phan – founder and creator of Very Mary Inspired & The Sketchbook Series. I've always known that I wanted to live a creatively inspired life. At an early age, I would sit and sketch for hours, focusing on the smallest details. My passion is connecting and inspiring other creatives through art + design.

As I became older, I always kept to my creative roots working in interior design, retail merchandising, wedding design, and all coming back to my passion as an educator & creative connector.

When I’m not finding inspiration in the work of top event designers, stylist or on the pages of my favorite love stories, you can find me exploring San Francisco bay area restaurants, shops, window displays, or wandering the streets of a little town I’ve never visited before, often with my husband and two sons in tow.
